SHD becomes NEXEREN
A new name: a new dimension for NEXEREN Press release of September 14, 2020
Built in 2013 and fortified in 2019 by its 2nd Datacenter, SHD solution d’Hébergement Durable, the Datacenters subsidiary of the XEFI group, is changing its name to NEXEREN to confirm its role as a major player in the Rhône-Alpes region and to give it a new national and European dimension in order to meet the technological challenges of ETIs and large international groups.
A new dimension for the group’s data center subsidiary
Significant human and financial resources are put in place to ensure the technological excellence of the data centers. Since 2013, NEXEREN’s overall investment in the CLOUD has amounted to €28 million. Today, the Datacenters subsidiary deserves a higher profile and this rebranding gives it a more coherent dimension.
Indeed, thanks to the numerous certifications obtained (Tier III “design” and “facility”, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001, HADS and PCI DSS), NEXEREN datacenters guarantee the technological performance of the infrastructures developed and ensure a high level of security to satisfy the most demanding requirements.
For Stevan Jovanovic, NEXEREN’s director, “The security of the infrastructures hosted in our datacenters is our top priority. We are one of the few French datacenters to have Tier III Facility certification, which guarantees a record level of availability and performance. Our datacenters are scalable and allow us to increase the surface area or modulate the electrical power.” On the subject of ecological impact and environmental responsibility, Stevan Jovanovic adds, “We have made some structuring technological choices, for example with innovative cooling modules. The objective is also to reduce energy consumption and consequently reduce the carbon impact.
Three other data centers are currently under construction and will be delivered in the first quarter of 2021.
To ensure a very high level of satisfaction with the ETI and international customers
The objective is also to respond to the development prospects of larger customers and to ensure their long-term satisfaction. NEXEREN is designed to support small and medium-sized companies and large international groups in managing their technological challenges, and the high level of certifications is a factual element proving the high performance of the Datacenters.
For Sacha Rosenthal, CEO of the XEFI group, “We have been working for more than 7 years to build and develop the Datacenters subsidiary of the group. With the experience we have gained and our success, we are beginning to reach an important level of maturity. We have proven to the largest customers of our Datacenters that our processes and our level of certification are highly effective.
Regarding customer satisfaction, Rosenthal adds, “We already have major national and international customers and we want to go even further to develop the already high level of customer satisfaction. Today, the group’s Datacenters subsidiary deserves special attention.
The brand is now positioning itself on international trade shows such as IT Meetings in Cannes from September 15 to 17, 2020.
